Cake Decorating Summer Camp in Orlando
Sugar Divas Summer Camp is a fun, hands-on cake decorating experience for kids ages 8–16 who love getting creative with cake, cupcakes and edible art.
Led by owner Clare and the experienced Sugar Divas decorating team, campers learn decorating techniques using buttercream, royal icing and fondant while building confidence, developing new skills and making new friends.
No previous cake decorating experience is required. Whether your child is picking up a
piping bag for the first time or already loves decorating at home, our team will guide them
throughout the week.
Ages: 8–16 (must have completed 2nd grade)
Days: Monday–Friday

The Sugar Divas Cake Decorating Experience
Campers will create and bring home:
●Cupcakes
●Decorated sugar cookies
●A mini cake
●An impressive 3D anti-gravity cake
Perfect for beginners and young decorators with some experience, these weeks introduce campers to a variety of cake and dessert decorating techniques.
Throughout the week, campers practice piping and work with buttercream, royal icing and fondant while completing fun edible projects.
They'll also compete in our signature Diva'd It Challenge—a fun and friendly decorating competition that encourages creativity, teamwork and problem-solving.
The Ultimate Cake Design Week
This special camp week puts the focus on one showstopping project: each camper will design and decorate their own two-tiered cake from start to finish.
No previous cake decorating experience is required. Our Sugar Divas team guides campers through each step, from developing their design concept to decorating, stacking and adding the final details.
Along the way, campers will learn and practice cake decorating techniques, create cupcakes and participate in our signature Diva'd It Challenge.
By the end of the week, each camper will have transformed their own idea into an incredible two-tiered cake—and they'll get to bring their masterpiece home!
What's Included:
Camp registration includes all decorating materials and supplies, expert instruction from the
Sugar Divas team, daily snacks, take-home creations, a personalized keepsake apron, Sugar Divas diploma and graduation photo emailed to parents.
Campers should bring a packed lunch and water bottle each day and wear closed-toe shoes.

Not at all! All Sugar Divas Summer Camp weeks are open to beginners. Campers with previous decorating experience are welcome too. Our team provides hands-on instruction and assistance so each child can work at their own level.
Does my child need cake decorating experience?
The Sugar Divas Cake Decorating Experience features a variety of decorating projects throughout the week, including cupcakes, sugar cookies, a mini cake and a 3D anti-gravity cake.
During The Ultimate Cake Design Week, campers spend more time designing and creating one larger showpiece—a two-tiered cake—while also completing additional decorating activities.
Both camp experiences are open to beginners.
What's the difference between The Sugar Divas Cake Decorating Experience and The Ultimate Cake Design Week?
Sugar Divas Summer Camp focuses primarily on cake and dessert decorating. Campers learn hands-on techniques using buttercream, royal icing, fondant and other decorating materials while creating edible projects throughout the week.
Is this a baking camp or a cake decorating camp?
No. Sugar Divas Summer Camp is a five-day experience running Monday through Friday, and registration is for the complete camp week. Individual camp days are not available.
Can I register my child for individual camp days?
There are no refunds, credits or prorated fees for missed camp days. If your child does miss a day, our team will do our best to help them catch up when they return so they can continue with their projects and enjoy the rest of the week.
What happens if my child misses a day of camp?
Each camper should bring a packed lunch and water bottle every day and wear closed-toe shoes. Sugar Divas provides daily snacks and all decorating materials and supplies.
What should my child bring to camp?
We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made 60 days or more before the first day of camp are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made 31–59 days before camp are eligible for a 50% refund or a full Sugar Divas camp credit that can be applied toward another available camp session.
Cancellations made 30 days or less before camp begins are non-refundable and non-creditable due to limited enrollment and the advance preparation required for each camper.
If Sugar Divas cancels a camp session, registered families will receive a full refund.
What is the Summer Camp cancellation policy?
Absolutely! Campers bring home their edible creations throughout the week. They'll also receive a personalized Sugar Divas apron, diploma and graduation photo to remember their camp experience.
Will my child bring their creations home?
We maintain a waitlist for each camp week. If your preferred session is full, contact Sugar Divas and we'll be happy to add your child to the waitlist.
